Who are the CMI ?

The Inter-American Masonic Confederation (IMC), founded on April 14, 1947, is a non-profit organization that groups together 92 Great Masonic Powers, admitted as members and distributed in 26 countries in South, Central, North, Caribbean and Europe.

The IMC promotes an innovative institutional model through the integration of Isbero-American Freemasonry and, by extension, Universal Freemasonry, with the aim of developing the full potential existing in an organization that has almost half a million members who, through the exchange of ideas, activities, principles, concerns and experiences, that is, their way of seeing and understanding the world,  seek to enrich the thinking of humanity and its cultures.

Understanding the profound transformations that are taking place in the world, with processes that are changing the form of relationships, overcoming cultural and geographical barriers, changes that do not know all paradigms and build new ways to understand the growing social needs and human visions; in this context, it is imperative to adapt the work tools of the Great Confederate Powers to new information technologies, adapting their operational processes to the current systems and encouraging the participation of all its members in a collaborative environment, in order to achieve tangible results for the benefit of the Freemason, his family and the society of which he is part.

And this is the commitment of the Inter-American Masonic Confederation – IMC.
